Have you ever experienced a toothache? It is very annoying and disturbing. It won't let you concentrate on your work and daily activities. Let us identify our toothache..... Toothache will be throbbing or pulsating in nature. It will increase on drinking cold water or beverages, hot beverages, sweet and sour food. The pain may last for some time and in some cases, the pain continues until a painkiller is taken. The painful tooth will be decayed or loose. The pain will aggravate on pressing the affected tooth. The best way to manage such pain is to visit your dentist. He may take an X - ray and look for hidden decay. Most of the times, a treatment like root canal or removal of the affected tooth is required. Until you visit a dentist, a very useful home remedy is to apply clove oil on the affected tooth for around 5 minutes, four times a day. Also a painkiller like combiflam will help to control the pain which can be taken twice a day. Have a healthy recovery..... Regards, Dr. Mukes...
